2055 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP)
The 2055 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) is the region's long-range transportation plan. The MTP establishes a vision for the transportation system through 2055 and identifies and recommends specific projects needed to support future growth, economic development, mobility, and quality of life.
The plan evaluates all modes of transportation, including streets and highways, public transit, walking, bicycling, multimodal freight movement, air traffic, and emerging transportation technologies. Recommendations will provide guidance for future transportation decision-making throughout the metropolitan area through a fiscally constrained implementation plan.
