The MPO has retained Alliant Consulting to assist with the study. The study will identify and address current and projected transportation issues associated with the study area. The study corridor comprises about two-miles of MN 220 North on the northerly edge of the City of East Grand Forks and Polk County in Minnesota. The study area limits are approximately from the intersection of 140th Street S.W. (Township Road/North Levee) on the North side of MN 220 North, South along MN 220 North (Central Avenue) to its transition at 9th Street N.E. to DeMers Avenue. Nine intersections will be under consideration. The corridor provides access to primarily existing and future commercial and agricultural uses.
